"Christ would not vote for Barack Obama because Barack Obama has voted to behave in a way that it is inconceivable for Christ to have behaved." - Alan Keyes (Competing with Barack Obama for the Illinois Senate Seat)
In case you didn't know this already: "God is a Republican" --- So I guess then, Alan Keyes votes to behave in a way that it IS conceivable for Christ to have behaved? --- Even if you do think abortion is wrong/evil (which I don't) isn't it wrong/evil to claim to know about the son of god's voting habits? - or at least a little arrogant?"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States" - VP Dick Cheney (Iowa City)It is worth noting that Alan Keyes viciously chastised Hillary Clinton for her Senate run in New York State citing that she had only recently taken up residence there for the sole reason of winning a Senate Seat. This happens to be true, and it wouldn't be pertinent except for the fact that Alan Keyes has never been a resident of Illinois (but he will be soon *wink*) -- but he did try to defend this blatant hypocrisy.
In this administration's continuing effort to avoid taking blame for anything Nostradamus here has told the American people EXACTLY what we need to know in this time of fear and doubt. If I might take a stab at simplifying what the VP said here (disguised in brilliant political rhetoric) --- If you don't vote for Bush/Cheney, you (American not voting for Bush/Cheney) can not blame anyone but yourself. --- This is the guy who said that future attacks on America are inevitable. So if future attacks are inevitable (which I believe they are)...
Senario 1: Bush gets re-elected --- I told you it was inevitable.
Senario 2: Kerry gets elected --- This never would have happened with Bush in office.
